Our story
Lower Austin Lodge Farm and Castle Farm are sister farms, next door to each other in the beautiful Kent down, in-between the two pretty villages of Shoreham and Eynsford. We have been family farmed for 5 generations.
Our beautiful Lavender fields were the first backdrops to draw in production companies and film crews… but since then we have expanded our offering to provide a variety of backdrops suitable for photography and filming.
We quickly recognised that long flowering seasons, and a variety of structure, colours and textures were important for any creative team.
Plus - undercover production space for crew, high speed wifi.. and of course excellent crew catering contacts!
Hello, I’m Lorna
Hi! I’m Lorna, and I grew up on the farm and manage all the location bookings. I have a background in production, fashion, PR and events, and I am always on hand to help you with shoot day.
Once we received your brief I can scout our fields across Lowers Austin Lodge and Castle Farm (an extensive 1,200 acres) to find what might work for you.
